Overview
Elite Credit Consultants LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as name, email, phone, mailing address, date of birth (for credit-related services), and documentation you upload — and limited information collected automatically (IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and analytics cookies). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
How We Use Information
To deliver and improve our services, communicate with you, prepare disputes or tax filings, process payments, comply with legal obligations, and protect against fraud. We do not sell your personal information.
Connected Bank Accounts & Financial Data (Plaid)
If you choose to link a bank account, we use Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to connect to your financial institution. You enter your banking credentials directly with Plaid — we never see, receive, or store your online banking username, password, or MFA codes. By linking an account you grant us and Plaid permission to access and transmit the information needed to deliver our services, and you agree to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy (https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy).
What we receive: institution name, account name, account type, the last four digits of the account number, current and available balances, and transaction history (date, amount, merchant/description, and category).
How we use it: solely to provide the services you requested — reviewing your financial picture, cash-flow/income and expense analysis, credit and business-credit readiness, bookkeeping, and account verification. We do not sell, rent, share, or use your financial data for advertising or marketing, and we do not use it for any purpose you have not authorized.
Who can see it: only you and authorized Elite Credit Consultants staff working on your file. Access tokens issued by Plaid are stored encrypted, server-side, and are never exposed to browsers or to other clients. Access is logged and audited.
Your control: you may disconnect any linked institution at any time from your Client Portal (Financials → Disconnect), or by emailing Admin@elitecreditconsultants.com. Disconnecting revokes our access with Plaid and deletes the imported accounts and transactions from your portal. We retain only records required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers required to deliver our services (e.g., credit bureaus, the IRS and state tax authorities, payment processors, Plaid for bank connections, email/SMS and hosting providers), with your written authorization, or when required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of marketing communications, by emailing Admin@elitecreditconsultants.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
Retention
We retain records as long as needed to provide services and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements (typically 4–7 years for tax-related records).
